This past Saturday’s matchup between IMGA National and Fork Union Military Academy was a showcase of emerging talent and high-level basketball action. With standout performances on both sides, several players made their presence felt and showed why they’re ones to watch in the coming seasons.
Fork Union Players to Watch
Isaiah Vick (6’7, Combo Forward)
Isaiah Vick continues to impress with his versatility as a combo forward. At 6’7, he can play inside and out, providing a unique matchup problem for defenders. Vick showcased his ability to crash the glass, score efficiently, and defend multiple positions. His size, athleticism, and basketball IQ make him a prospect to keep a close eye on as he develops further.
Kaleb Spenser (6’9, Forward)
Kaleb Spenser was a presence in the paint all game long. At 6’9, his size and length allowed him to impact both ends of the floor, altering shots defensively and finishing strong around the rim. Spenser runs the floor well for his size and continues to show growth in his footwork and touch in the post. He has the physical tools and upside that college programs are undoubtedly taking notice of.
IMGA National Players to Watch
Jordan Tillery (6’5, Guard)
Jordan Tillery is a smooth operator on the floor, and he proved it once again in Saturday’s matchup. The 6’5 guard displayed excellent body control and athleticism, allowing him to get to his spots with ease. Whether pulling up for a mid-range jumper or attacking the basket, Tillery plays with confidence and poise. His ability to create offense for himself and teammates makes him a critical part of IMGA National’s success.
Kendyl Sanders (6’7, Forward)
Kendyl Sanders made his mark with his ability to run the floor and finish in transition. At 6’7, he has the size to be a factor near the basket but also the athleticism to stretch the defense. Sanders excels at using his length and energy to get to the rim, converting around the basket with consistency. His motor and impact on the fast break are key attributes that coaches love.
Timo George (6’8, Forward)
Timo George was one of the most active players on the floor, constantly making plays on both ends. At 6’8, George has a natural ability to rebound, defend, and finish inside. He impressed with his hustle and physicality, drawing attention from college programs such as San Diego, Portland, Wofford, and Bradley, who are tracking him closely on the recruiting trail. His continued development, especially offensively, will make him an even bigger threat moving forward.
