PQSPORTS MEDIA

In an effort to enhance the PQSports experience, we’ve revised the media criteria and guidelines to ensure the event’s integrity and elevate the exposure of student-athletes participating in PQSports events. Media credentials will be granted to credible representatives who can demonstrate that their coverage and attendance contribute to the promotion and visibility of these athletes.

Videography Guidelines:

  1. Videography should be conducted in a manner that does not disrupt the event’s operations, including maintaining visibility for college coaches sitting courtside, scorekeepers, security, or any high-traffic areas that could become congested or present safety concerns.
  2. Videography will not be permitted directly under the basket, specifically in the baseline area.
  3. Any footage captured and posted online—via social media, websites, etc.—must include the updated PQSports logo and must tag the @PQSports handle.

Photography Guidelines:

  1. Photography will only be approved if it’s accompanied by an editorial or published content assignment.
  2. A letter of assignment from the media outlet must be provided to Greg Williams via email ([email protected]) no later than 3 days before the event date.
  3. The editorial assignment must be reviewed and approved by Greg Williams before any content is published.

Editorial Guidelines:

  1. Editorial content must focus on player interviews, player coverage, pre/post event coverage, or event promotion.
  2. Scouting Services – Only NCAA-approved, credible scouting services that consistently provide reports to college coaches in support of players on the PQSports Circuit will be considered for approval. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
  3. All editorial content must be freely accessible to the public and cannot be hidden behind a paywall.
  4. When posting editorial content on social media, please tag @PQSports and use the hashtag #PQSports. e. Accredited media members will have access to a PQSports content media folder organized by club and division, containing headshots, action photos, and player video reels. We request that you use this content in your coverage.

These guidelines have been set to help maintain the standards of PQSports events and ensure that our media partners follow the necessary protocols. Any violation of these guidelines will be reviewed, and the appropriate actions will be taken, including possible withdrawal of credentials for this or future events. Content deemed harmful to the players, the PQSports brand, or any associated partners will result in an immediate ban from all PQSports events.
